Ashish Kumar

Ashish Kumar is the founding partner of TraCarta India Private Limited and the architect of the AirX© Automation Framework — the proprietary methodology that underpins every client engagement.

With over two decades of specialist experience in GST and indirect tax advisory, Ashish identified a structural gap in how India's largest enterprises managed their travel tax obligations — and built TraCarta to close it.

His practice focuses on enterprise ITC strategy, multi-entity GST governance, and the intersection of tax advisory and technology automation. He works directly with CFOs, Group Finance Directors, and Head of Tax roles across TraCarta's client portfolio.

Prior to founding TraCarta, Ashish held senior advisory positions with leading indirect tax practices, where he led travel and hospitality sector engagements for large-cap Indian corporates.
